Embrace a Moment Long Gone Sometimes the winds can touch us like never before Once felt, you can never feel it the same In the midst of a moment resting in my minds confusion I was still beneath his sheltered wings from the rain... Though the storms were every bit raging this time I found my way from the waters to a little peace I'm still embracing a moment long gone with those winds For, destiny temporarily had a hold of me... So, I won't allow the arms of sweetness to go away I've learned through tomorrow I can have some of yesterday I can just close my eyes and feel the warmth in it all And, embrace a moment long gone while the waters still fall... Sometimes we have to pray for a breeze just to breathe I'm only hanging on by an ounce of strength here within So, here I go where the winds still blow To embrace a moment long gone from him... Somehow, in the middle of feeling it pour harder then ever I got a taste of comfortable that those winds brought along Just watch me waving cause a heart's still craving I'm going back to embrace a moment long gone... I feel it; hesitation stealing fear And, oh my God, it's like he's really here I'm embracing a moment long gone but still here in my mind So, forgive me, if I refuse to let go this time... This is such a wonderful write Saunni! Your description of inner feelings is exceptional!
