The feelings flow from deep within
wanting so depserately for me to let them in.
Slowly and slowly they flow threw my system.
I know they are there and I know when to listen.

Through my blood, and through my veins,
but with my heart you play no games.
I try to live my life despite
but can I? In spite of this light.

You can't play love for a fool,
but can he, over your eyes, lay wool?
I lie in bed, her on my thoughts.
Feel as if alone and lost.

I wander through love's forest,
hear my thoughts, their chaotic chorus.
Love takes a man's commitment;
sometimes I prefer this forest of abandonement.

Abandonment by my own mind;
in these trees there is no sublime.
Among the moss, a lone facuet.
flowing water forces my feelings in a closet.

Lay with me on the wet, damp ground.
Lay with me love, don't worry about the gown.
Can we just forget about the repurcussions?
Give in, welcome the consequences?

Lay with me my love,
alone, here, in love's forest.

I love the first verse..'..I know when to listen'. If everyone knew when to just listen to their hearts, so many more lives would be happy.....wonderful write!!
