Coat of Dreary

The eerie of the dreary
Are the algae of the leery?
It’s the substance of the clouds
The ambivalence of its shroud

It wets the spark that jumps across
Damps the titillate of force
The light that notions to the brain
That fights the dragons till their slain.

The grade that slows the babbling brooks
The flameless flame that cannot cook
It freezes icicles of thought
It brings your fantasies to naught.

It is a malady of stage
That sometimes comes with passing age
Or sometimes through a sorrows cast
That holds you in those sorrows past.

But turn your face away from night
And your dreary will turn delight.

There's something so fantastically fun about the word dreary.

written in blood before everything went black

*smiling at you* ... "flameless flame" reminds me of "touchless touch"
(yer so cool)

Randy is just so cute...I even found some of his baby pictures...

now how cute is that?

So he eats a few too many chips and beer...
we cant hold that against him can we?

May love and light always shine upon you!

A most adorable poem...I really liked the idea about there being a light side to aging; but you really must stop draggin that dragon around, Sy....

Seymour oh caller of the dragon flames, how special is this? Well, I could lie and say I s’pose it’ll do, you know of course that it does more than just do, it is extraordinarily good writing. Your metaphor, your line and style each perfectly formed to make a superb whole. You ALWAYS surpass my expectations of your writing, I roll up to your poem, sit down beside and I’m prepared to be delighted, and what happens? I’ll tell you what, I’m always bowled over by the mastery and the magic you weave into your words.

Have you missed me darling man?  I’ve been imprisoned on EBay, but there’s a pause in the shopping frenzy so I’ve escaped for a short while. Besides I don’t like to stay away from you too long you might replace me as the Sultans favourite and that would never do. Would it?

Wonderful writing darling heart utterly utterly wonderful, I love it utterly utterly utterly, your writing is always filled with such grace. Truly beautiful writing

Such good advice....as long as I can keep my dreams.
