Music of my Day

I hear the music of my day
Thunders fury in worded bray
Passions of volcanic force
Spilling lava down the course.

Belching flames of desire
Raging like a forest fire
Melting down the stones of past
With hedonistic idols cast

And comets carry vapor trails
Like dragons swishing angry tails
Racking up our every core
Until they’ve opened every sore.

And yet the earth will turn each light
Into the arms of soothing night
And time will play the game of change
The awesome game of rearrange

You cannot stop infinity
Regardless of virginity

Ive known a wind so cold, seen the darkest days

Seymour darling boy this is truly stunning writing. Always your words flow with hearts sighs, your voice floats through the starry skies like angels’ breath. This is not the soft whispers on the edge of night as you so often write, this is a raging firestorm and it is purely beautiful. As to which of your wondrous writes I only know that whether your words are dropping into my soul like the gentle rain that refreshes the desert or the fire that sweeps through purifying and clearing the way for renewal it is always wonderful.

I love the images as always no one can do this so well darling boy. I truly believe this is one of your best utterly utterly perfect

Touch me with your wordy smile
Walk beside me mile on mile
Lift me into that dreamer’s place
Where soul’s renewed win life’s race

Speak to me in accents true
Show me all you can of you
Let me look into dragon’s eyes’
And taste again your soul’s sighs

Stroll beside me by times shore
Murmur songs of evermore
Take the stars and spin their light
Into webs of soft moonlight

Absolutely excellent work

Love and warm stuff
As always
Mushy

Breathe through the heat of our desire
Thy coolness and they balm
Let sense be dumb let flesh retire
Speak through the eathquake wind and fire
Oh

Your title is so appropriate... for opening one of your poems is like putting a brand new CD from a favorite musician on to play... I may not know what notes I'll hear... but I know they'll be sweet upon my ear. *S* And your words are always a treat... this is awesome, Seymour!
