Once upon a day
not so long ago
I was walking down the road
not fast… but rather slow

It was beautiful out there
a day late in September
I enjoyed the scenery
as I well remember…

Inhaling deep the healthy air
while I looked around
and there it was…
waiting to be found

A mushroom… red and white
straight from a fairy tail
and I decided to inspect
every small detail

So I fell on my knees
my eyes are not that good
to take a closer look
under it’s speckled hood

Right at that moment
I heard some stranger say…
with a smile in his voice:
“Are they home today?”

(smiles) Awwwwwwww, this is soooooo cute, sweet friend, I believe in fairy-tales and this one made me smile just imagining the mystical beauty like in Alice in Wonderland! (kiss on cheek) This is lovely, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Neeraja, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

A lovely fantasy poem, Neeraja...
I have never seen a red and white mushroom, are they tasty?
They probably look real pretty in a salad.

Maybe I mixed up the english... I thought those things are called mushrooms, but now I've heard the name should be toad-stool... smile... well... can't change it now.

By the way... the red with white speckled ones... I would not advice them for dinner...or any other meal... it is a very poisonous one!!!

Indeed, the little ones are always home...
you just have to knock very gently...
and a smiling face you've left me...

How very sweet. I could see you there kneeling and I can hear the twinkle in that strangers voice. Very nice...
