moments

spelled out on the page by an unseen hand
in the truest language of living
seek to give our being meaning
              definitions of desire
              entymologies of existence
origins born of the earliest tongues
now lost, save for the final speakers
                     holding the traditions of life
                            in their hands

are we the tellers of life
              (or, are we the characters?)
speaking that language
(written on those pages in red ink)
we find that the stories don't end
when we run out of ink
                      but when the light
                             is turned out

I'd love to curl up with a book of your famous poetry one day, Sven Pen...maybe even your recorded voice to read it to me.

I'm sighing here, sweet man!

John,
You have a light that could never go out, I believe.

BRAVO!!! Oh Sven, this is wonderful, sweet friend, yes, our pens as far as I am concerned are always filled with ink that wells from deep within our hearts but once can't write if he or she can't see the words on the notepad! (sigh) This is excellent, sweet friend, I love it, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sven, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

I have to say that Sven's poetry is best when he reads it to you in person.  Really, that's the only way to get the whole effect he is going for.

Well done, Sven.
