Epiphany

The bloom of an epiphany
Flowered on my vine of scope
It came to me in irony
A time when I was loosing hope

The bud was growing in the shade
Underneath a patch of lean
But only brown did show in fade
And nothing of the lovely green

But there it lay in rare expose
Beneath my eyes far sighted leer
Exposed but inches from my nose
Belief so near and yet so clear

I reached my hand out to the know
And touched a Vail of ecstasy
And love spread over me in flow
And washed away the agony

The golden garden and its yield
That I had searched so far a field

Seymour,
I have to put pen to paper (metaphorically!),
once again to tell you of my delight when I read your beautiferous words.   So much so, that as a 'newbie' to this Forum, and the written poetic word, that I went back and
read more of your wonderous lines.  Oh that I would be given such a fantasmagoric gift that you have.
Kind thoughts,
John

The veil was but a fog of dew
and yet, I know, that it was you...

Ah Sy...you've welcomed my morning very well...

=======================================

Dear gifted Poet ... Dear gifted Poet ...
oh how your garden grows.
With silver bells, gold daffodils ...
and your prize rose of suppose.

This Eden's gate, this Shangri La,
that blooms verdant in your mind.
Planted by fate ... seeded with time ...
cultivated by rhyme ... tended with kind.

In a poet's garden of ecstasy,
blooms an eloquent epiphany.
A dreamscape where butterflies are free ...
where Nature and Mankind live in harmony.

Dear gifted Poet ... Dear gifted Poet ...
If this garden exists ... only you could grow it.

Music Maker is right...your rhymes rock

Could not ask for a nicer comment, thank you.

Sunshine,

You are so bright this morning.

(smiles) Oh Seymour, this is wonderful, sweet friend, I believe time makes many blessings possible and when we are patient and walk on, all a sudden through our despair we find that blessing upon a pedestal and it changes our lives forever and makes us smile! (big hugggsssssss) This is excellent, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Seymour, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

The lessons that are in front of us if we look are amazing.  So wonderful to hear of yours in this possitive and hope-filled poem!

This has such a lovely feeling to it, Sy...
I think that we all have responsibility for our own happiness and that reaching out for it, is the best way of getting it.
