Sometimes a person feels
As if they're being used.
Some people gain their confidence...
Then confidence abuse.

You feel so very foolish-
And take a losers view...
When all they want is service,
And take no thought of you.

One time I loved a lady-
She told me she loved me...
But all she really wanted,
Was a man to set her free.

Her answer to life's problems-
Was to pack her bags and run.
And all I had she wanted,
Were some contacts and my gun.

I guess I'm older, wiser-
And I know I was a fool.
A man is walking blindly,
When he lets his passions rule.

My dreams, and all my longings
I realize are gone...
The path I walk from here on out-
Be sure, I'll walk alone.

Nice one!!!
Been there and worn the Tee shirt.
Life goes on, dear friend, you only get one shot!!!
Thank God I found myself a good one, the second time around!!!
Kind regards,
