Feeling You

Although we come from different worlds,
many miles apart, I trace the patterns
that your body leaves behind,
whenever you must return to yours.
I can only tell you that feeling you
when with me, takes my breath away
and when you are gone, time stands still.

Whenever I need you, you are always there,
no distance too far, no drive too long,
each made up for by our moments together.
Even the coolness of the evenings
are warmer than the summer heat
when your lips reach mine,
and the passion that exists
cannot be explained in words,
though I am trying.

They don't come easily to me anymore,
for the power of your existence,
the real of your body, becoming one with mine,
leaves only a hush to be heard.
Your lips say "I  love you",
their kisses have no limit,
as gentle replaces the passionate,
and I remain yours, when you must leave,
retracing all that you have left behind
in memories.

M

Maureen,
how soft and sensual. This poem has traces of you all over it.

Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind.  Unknown

Maureen darling heart this is perfect and so very very true. It echoes with love and desire, truly sensual and divinely passionate, I love the trace of love that overlays this like a veil of wonder. YOU shine darling heart you really do. This is superb writing and I love it utterly, as always the phrases flow down the page in smooth and truthful cascade.

Absolutely perfect writing  and I love it well written and always special from you. I love it utterly utterly love it

Love and warm stuff
As always
Mushy

Breathe through the heat of our desire
Thy coolness and they balm
Let sense be dumb let flesh retire
Speak through the eathquake wind and fire
