Images are flame stitched
Bleeding together, staining shallow
seeping deep

Changing the way
life moves
through my veins

My symmetry of believing
hangs in the balance
of everything
worth reckoning
as these patterns
of rare pieces
scatter
in wished winds

They bead the horizon
gypsy, to some
But to me they are etchings
glinting gold
red fringed
in a surrendered sun

They do not scare me
these thoughts, these dream schemes
suffer only
a place to bask
a place where seamless secrets
are never twisted by onlookers
into ragged curtains
of empty houses

I shall not settle
in this life
for prism light
from keyhole awareness

I may glaze over
and become majolica
But I truly want to know
what it feels like
to be me
in the throes
of my own brazened sky

all I can say, Regina, rather, ask,
is that you pursue your writing
to ever higher levels...

then we can say, we knew her when...

it is good to see this woman
in her strong boots
with the laces tied in double knots

and know the soft of her wears them

You've a complete set of majolica. Even your momentary unbalance beams. Enjoyed

Did you know that if you hug your monitor, you can actually hear all the voices inside of it?

Seriously ... I found this poem speaking volumes of liberated freedom in the discovery of life.  It's as if a whole life-time had been lived and then one day, the eyes decided to open.  Self exploration and even more important, the realization that there truely is nothing holding us back as long as we venture out with a will to discover,( or maybe more of a desire), and accept the fact that we may fall or tumble, but we will always find a little more glimmer in our hearts and souls each time out.  Knowledge and it's understanding are crucial in this life and I believe your words are trying to teach us that.  Truely beautiful words and exquisite in it's presentation and use of the proper vocabulary to express it's content.  Anyway, that's what I got out of it and if I am wrong, then sell my saddle and call me "Festus". Reggie-girl...you've penned a view of you that is stunning...the imagery in this is outstanding...the use of color and texture is just so very well done. The images are vivid and warm with light and were the perfect vehicle to deliver your emotions and message of inspire in this.
And I will never hear the end of it if I dont mention ...YES my Aquarian prince...

Now for me some words come easy
But I know that they don't mean that much ...
Compared with the things that are said when lovers touch.

Don't listen to JM ... I merely "SHOVELED" it into her brain.  I never once beat it into her head.ROFL.  Thought you deserved a bump and that JM needed a follow-up lesson.

Forgive me for not always knowing how to thank everyone for being so especially kind to me. I appreciate each of you deeply and I do wish time was as kind. I will give a shot late in the fading pages of this to wish you each a loving thought of thanks.
Ms. Elan:...you bring me familiar heart smiles..I can't place them immediately but your words are grand to me.

Dark: You know, these boots do feel somewhat ladylike at times..warm hugs to you for making me teeter there.

bsquirrel: You are awesome and moresome..hehe. You giggle me.

Seymour: You are just the kind of spirit guide I need then..hug you!

Lyra: Your hugs and grins and thoughts are soo dear to me. Very warm you are and I appreciate you so.

Paul: I thank you for your visits and find you extrememly kind in each.

Noah: "may your dreams forever decorate your skies and leave great impressions of Eden to your heart!" You are a song that fills me with harmony.

Richard: Missed you my self exiled friend..We must..because we must..hehe..thank you hugs.

Mark: Twice you honor me and twice you thought I deserved it. You can keep your saddle~wink*..and perhaps I should Glow extra bright for conveying such positivity. But I can only tell you that I learned it by getting smacked by the windshield called life at high speed on several occasions and barely was able to peel my hind end off. I can say that I'm happy I did though..hehe. Thank you Marshal poet.

Janet: You been rode hard and put up enlightened? HA! I doubt that I could teach you anything..but possibly I could shed a little light on how moths..are even more beautiful than butterflies.

Enchantress: You give me reason to! Your replies are magical encouragement to me.

Larry: Honey..you do the "Bump" better than anyone I know..Here's a squeeze for you

Love and huggies..
Sincerely,
Reg
