Your gluttonous eyes can’t conceal impatience,
But I give you the benefit of the doubt, stranger.
Though the cheese on the mouse-trap reeks of danger,
The fish takes the bait to avoid starvation…

An interesting piece. Sometimes the choices available are low percentage but we do it anyway because we must.
