I miss the connection
but you've had objections
you're so hard to read
& I've tired of "try"

I thought we were okay
& now it's like, "no way!"
you hereby are freed
I'm sure you know why...

because I don't...

Yep, been exactly there.  The confidence, the confusion, the resolve not to need to know.

I need to learn how to "let go" like this--

(both in writing and relationships--grin)

The last line sealed it. Wonderful.

Wow....

Tier...this is so clear....and so very well
expressed...How true it is as well...If only
we could read thoughts,  maybe it is best
that we cannot...

I like this
it made me remember a situation

we were talking about this and that, about nothing, really, and she got angry. she got angrier and angrier, and I could not understand why, and she could explain it in any way that made sense to me.

that moment remains puzzling to this day.

So, thanks,

Wow, the things you say in two short verses.  Great ending, I've never read better.
