I can look upon myself, my body, through and through, and find that I have always had this hard searched thing called "Truth", And with a smile I can rid of all pain I avoid, And alas! Behold! the wonderous gift that we all label "Joy". And somewhere from the endless, twisting universe above, A small and peaceful angel sends with dear regards my "Love". And all that I can do under discerning moon tonight, Is ponder, revel, and just be the thing I am, pure light. God is not an angry man upon a cloud so high, Nor she conniving, vengeful, punishing with dear despise. God is not a tallymaker of my prayers I send, Nor will she mind the lack thereof upon my mortal end. God need not a baptism so you can be allowed, To be at peace forever more, the promise to which we're all endowed. God needs not religions, symbols, rules, or etiquette. He doesnt mind the wealth you have.. not a single bit. God doesnt mind that you ignore her, day upon wasted day, Nor does he mind the death you caused in your genocidal, murderous rage. She doesn't mind all those drugs you've taken, all those things you've stolen, all those lies you've told, nor does she mind all those Satan- worshipping masses of yours... Know this, my fellow man and woman, know you are always a part. And nothing you will ever do will change whats in your heart. For heaven is a promise, heaven is a song. Heaven is the home of all who've travelled these roads long. Heaven is forgiveness, for the wayward wretch you are, Heaven is the truth that you, my friend are a shining star. FEAR NOT DEATH, |
