Between Today and Tomorrow

Between today and tomorrow lies maybe
A thought for a moment of what could be
Your dreams are simply wishes that might come true
And hope is a song that carries you through
Time spins on and the day is over and gone
But dreams of what might be live ever on
Touch the hope of promise and the sun will shine
And someway somehow everything will be fine

In the cracks of seconds that slide gently past
There lies within a hope of what might last
Don’t reach for tomorrow not learning today
Or else your life’s dreams might all slip away
Learn to forgive yourself to be kind and true
Look for the good in others help them through
Dream of your tomorrows but live day by day
Live in the now with hope is the best way

In between yesterday and today lies hope
Giving you the courage to fight and cope
Don’t live only in dreams but don’t lose your sight
Dreams are the wishes that give your soul flight
Hope holds out its hand now take it as you may
Love lives on it will help you on your way
Tomorrow will come when it is due to appear
Until then live without the touch of fear

Marsha

Breathe through the heat of our desire
Thy coolness and they balm
Let sense be dumb let flesh retire
Speak through the eathquake wind and fire
Oh

Beautifully done.
All the universe lies in the in-betweens,
all the stars are shining,
and there the angels sing.
Speak to me of maybe,
speak to me of soon,
dream with me of oceans
on the farthest moon.

Shucks, I started to reply and made a verse!

This is so filled with wisdom and inspiration Marsha ... I'm placing it in my library right now, for an excellent reminder when I need a boost. Very much enjoyed!

Best wishes,
/Kit

A very inspiring piece here... You've opened up our minds to dare to dream again.  Loved it, Marsha
