Stem songs wiring high
into heaven realms spilling

Fair blushing drink of day

How, to bind favor unto forever
to taste as sinful berries
to blend as quenching liquid
ripening heavy horizons
polishing deep
the currants of time

Glass this swallow, still
grasping flavor
keeping secret bouquets
sharing honey
made rare
to taste

Gloss this scarlet change
long into you
Vine dangling
ecstasy
bare

Pour for me, your danger
of never same, Dionysus
My Dionysus
rain wild
your plummets of crystalline

Inspired by one of Passions most passionate. Thank you D.

Is Aphrodite an appropriate name??

I swear you could turn dirt into something
so delicate and passionate....

The currants of time! That's awesome!

And so's this very wine-infused poem!

These smiling eyes are just a mirror for the sun.

Well there you are!! I thought I might find you at the "oxygen" bar but instead you are roaming around the vineyard indulging in the passions of fruit.

Such beauty you add to the vines in this remarkable piece.  Your phrasing and line breaks in this piece are nothing short of superb.  You have done well in both honoring the poet that inspired you and in creating an inspirational one yourself.  Well done and very much enjoyed as always.  Now YOU see why I call your pen MAGICAL.

Make sure you recognize love as the gift it is and not a need that is out of focus

My oh my....you worked this metaphor till it was poetic perfection. Very very cool...
love the imagery and analogy blending of this Reggie...was like sipping fine wine

and how cool is this line:

How, to bind favor unto forever

how indeed

And all of this is made a sweeter brew when inpsired by another poets words...
ya did his "plummets of crystalline" justice.

Who knew a glow bug could write so well. LOL

When your own emptiness is all thats getting through,
There comes a point when youre not sure why youre still talking,
I passed that point long ago.

hmmmmmmm. . . soft and subtle, with ever-changing undertones. . . a waftfulness that plays with the mind and sends it dreaming. . .

fruity, but yet, tasteful. . . a very bold yet caressing red. . . one that coats the palette with many flavors and memories. . . and the aftertaste. . . softer yet, leaving behind a memory. . .

hmmm. . . this was a very good year. . .

Well, you know what I am thinking?  I am thinking I could become your editor and we could make some serious cash Reggie.  Talk to that husband of yours and I say we publish you, and if I can't be your editor, may I then be your first customer?  This was simply fanstastic writing, and I wish it were bound into a book I could hold.

Nothing means more to me than faith,
family and my friends.
