Meter,Schmeter....OK?

Lady, wilt thee still have thy knight
in armor dented and unclean?
Can thy heart still carry love of me
in spite of this dull sheen?

My soul carries a burden of a hundred
stones of great size and weight.
Doth thee still love, still live of me?

Whence thy mind found my heart.
Whence thy soul became of me.
‘Pon the mome, ‘pon the start
Doth thee still, of now, love me?

A life of plunder, of wickedness.
A life of sinfulness and shame.
A soul so tattered in duress.
Wilt thy love of me remain?

Give me thy hand, that I might shed
a tear from my soul into thy palm.
Whisper thy words, clear my dread.
Comfort me now, keep me warm..

Barry you know I love this!
Perhaps your best?
You may weep into my palm any day sire.
Whilst this wench polishes thine armor.
Well done!

This is moving and powerful.
Brilliant as usual.

I wrote something of the same subject it seems so long ago. It had two parts, and it didn't have this language. *sigh* Anyway..I did love this, and anyone in their right minds would love that Knight no matter what his past.

How grave is my condition, for I cannot find the words to say, I need you so.

Magnus darling boy this is utterly utterly perfect, what can I say that I haven’t said before? There’s nothing I shall simply have to come up with new superlatives, and they aren’t just lying around anywhere you know? Good superlatives are a buyers market, unless you’ll make do with the fake ones, they look okay it’s only when you rub them the gilt comes off. So don’t rub them darling boy

Absolutely wonderful darling I love this one, tell the Knight I’ll meet him round by the bike sheds in half an hour, and I’ll bring a can opener. I know frightfully irreverent aren’t I You did say the armour was a little bashed up, I’m just ensuring that we don’t run into any difficulties

Love and warm stuff
As always
Mushy

Breathe through the heat of our desire
Thy coolness and they balm
Let sense be dumb let flesh retire
Speak through the eathquake wind and fire
Oh

Need thy beseech this soul's mate?
My love, thine heart, is thy gate
to enter in, to keep thee warm
as thee has kept me save from harm...

Hello Barry

You are a knight in shining armour to many people here and I'm one of your biggest fans.  This was wonderful.

Take care.....Sue

Helen...dear lady,  forgive me for making
you cry...Surely not my desire...

I am just letting a part of me out...humbling
myself with my soul's words...
To each of you,  so many names... so many
individual thoughts and feelings...Thanx
much...This has been an emotional roller
coaster of a week...
