I am your imagination and your patience
I wonder what tomorrow may bring
I hear the wheels inside your head
I see something blurred by your windows.

I pretend that I am helpless
I feel that I am lost
I touch my confusion
I worry that I may never grow up
I cry when you break my heart
I am your imagination and your patience.

I understand that no one is perfect
I say that someday I will fly
I dream that I might be able to let go
I try so hard not to break your heart
I hope that you will understand that
I am your imagination and your patience.
