As I strike

"Their venom is like the venom of a snake,
like that of a cobra that has stopped its ears, "
NIV Psalm 58:4

As you play your broken flute
I'm protected by my Lord
As you look at me to toot
I am freed by your discord.

For I see your hidden net
As you try to capture me
And my mate your heel will get
As your fate, quick death, will be.
As I strike.

(sigh) Wow, this is a very striking and powerful poem, sweet friend, I could envision the snake and someone guarding it and playing the flute in some Agrabah-Alladin kind of setting, this is wonderful! We all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Newell, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
