me and you are just ordinary men
like him and another with him

yes, we are all simple creatures
complexity devoid
much the same yet
we have this huge divide

a gaping hole that
is forever
threatening to widen
and to swallow what
us and them have stood for
all our lives

and then there are those
who talk as if they come from a place
higher, apparently detached,
as if the world revolves around them
demigods talking philosophy
giving lessons for living
while all us and them need is
food, water and shelter
without having to beg for it

sometimes i think
(if it comes to that)
i should cast a curse that all
those preachers turn dumb
and listen to their inner sounds
that shall tell them to
shut up for their own good
and for the good of us and them

then maybe us and them
could all be called ‘we’

I agree, some people act like there are barriers between them and the rest of us...but if they'd only see....good work Sudhir. Oh, by the way, it's nice to see you again.

(sigh) Yes, I too believe tat deep down we are all the same in some way and are only unique by our dreams and intuition, but should neevr be barb-wired by others doctrines!
