I look upon each star so far, in blackness of the night
The crescent moon that leaves too soon with not a cloud in sight

I walk beside just stillness and contentment on the breeze
I smile with thoughts of calmness and some moments, which appease

Earths curvature beyond my reach, its vastness past my quest
The heavens in their glory, where fate and dreams do rest
Where many look upon in pain, to asks and question why
Where faith it lives, where faith it gives and hope reveals to try

I am small and almost nothing, to this universe around
A thinker loving freedom and a night of so abound

A dreamer seeking answers to the questions many hide
A dreamer with a vision and some time here by his side

Contented for a moment with this masterpiece of time
Happy to have witnessed both the night and peace in rhyme

To wake once more to moments as the light of home does come
The journey then of mind to end and sorrowed tears to run

Oh, this is lovely and going into my library. Chris

Au contraire, your freedom in these thoughts not only makes you more..makes you poetically fabulous. You exude the magic of night and its love affair here..with open eyes..

Sincerely,
Regina
