The Unforgiven

I stand on the highest mountain
Overlooking the vast spectrum of life
With the wind navigating my thoughts

Pondering and observing
Decisions soon to be made
Watering orbs of prediction
As an enemy placates me
Offerings of treasures and truths

While the sun shines upon the children
Casting light upon their pitiful souls
As flesh and consciousness
Succumb to the shadows of evil
I listen to crying hearts
Splashing tears…blood red…dropping
Into the bottomless abyss of sorrow

Naked and ashamed
Wandering through the wilderness
Lost without guidance
Blind pawns of the past
Players in the game of “Fate”

They reach out
In hopes of a Savior’s hands
Only to find a cold breeze
And the silence of time

But as darkness settles
Cries turn into cheers
Pain into pleasure
Tears drying
Becoming dust
In the desert of “Revelations”

With the sun at my back
And the shadows preceding me
I am drawn into the darkness
As I make that slow walk
Into the valley of “Sin”

I felt the darkness settling in as I read, enveloping me in the deepness of your thoughts here......very intense, and extremely well written.....much enjoyed

The music is playing...it's your time to dance!

Interesting! A page from the prophecies, through a personal view. Vividly portrayed.

I enjoyed.

Step through the
barrier of my mind,
enter my soul,
feel my desire,
let my eyes guide you
into the shadows of my heart

The Temptation of Christ comes through very clearly to me and demonstrates the humanity present in a way that makes it more real.

Very stirring piece.

Thank you, Bart for your understanding.  Not trying to compare with the almighty, just trying to show how weak we are as humans.
