Whence will moon of darkened sky rise
and caste glow of night into view
of two in wrest of passion’s sighs
upon the lawn in soft renew.

Doth not the chill of skin once then
abate from feel and sight from beam
while ways of gents desire to win
the glow of face in sensuous gleam

My lust for thee art surely strong
and cloud the mind of chivalry
The night is right and ride is long
Wilt thee remain, be once for me

Thy quest to keep a virtue true
shall not be cast into the light
as lips desire to feel the dew
thy thirst remains till once is right.

Thee art lady of treasure pure
A gem most rare desired to keep
Lie in thee bed alone endure
I guard, I keep thy soul in sleep

Oh good sire, a gem wilt thy be
to but travel in the pouch of thee
wish but emerald eyes and ruby lip
and golden chalice from which to sip

all thy treasures before thee, lay
no price too great, your fee to pay

Hello Barry

My feet still haven't touched the ground after reading this masterpiece! Beautifully written by a gallant gentleman.

Take care......Sue
