where the sky and horizon meet

0 posted 2002-04-15 11:37 PM

I drip some thoughts
onto the page
and soon they become a trickle
They bleed there way
down the paper
now flowing just a little
It takes awhile
to break the dam
but sooner or later it comes
My thoughts pour out
without control
And I gasp
knowing I'll lose some.

Your beautiful words & creativity allow me to connect with the same in myself.
Thank you for having the courage to share yourself so that I can too

Hi SmittenKitten--

Loved your poem--I journal also, to find out what I am really thinking and get frustrated because I can't capture it all.  You expressed this so well.

Made me smile you did...I think we can all relate--nothing, nothing, and then whoosh! It all comes out in a rush and you can't catch it all--er, we are talking about WRITING, aren't we?

Warm hugs, kitten!

(It was good for me too!)

lol @ Serenity.  Yep, sometimes my fingers can't keep up with my thoughts and I lose three more thoughts trying to remember one.

Nicely written, SmittenKitten. Sometimes those thoughts just dribble away.

SmittenKitten~

As poets we surely do all know the story of the 'one that got away'~
I think I'll start using a net !

(smiles) Oh Krista, I know how you feel, I always have all these thoughs that come out sometime but then I have no way of writing them down, so then I say "Oh no, what do I do?" (kiss on cheek) This is gorgeous, sweet friend, you always write the most wonderful words, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Krista, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Krista hi there, this is really lovely writing, it flows with such a lovely soft flow. Could this be any smoother? I don’t think so, excellent writing. Well done You are a fine, a very fine writer

Shenachie~ It is frustrating....but at least we're actively seeking out our thoughts.  Just think how many we'd lose if we never wrote in the first place!

SereneGirly~ Hehe, you are a naughty one, you!  I'm glad it was good for you too though   that's my goal.

Duncan~ Hehe, exactly!

Midnitesun~ We need buckets to collect them in and then we can take them out at our leisure!  Although I suppose our memories are that bucket....but if that's the case, my bucket is full of holes!

BearyLarry~ Hehe, I hope not!  Who knows what'll happen to me if it's started already!  And you're definitely right, it's never too late!

Marge~
My thoughts swim in and out of sight
as I chase them with a net
a beautiful one turns to smile at me
it's the one I wanted and didn't get!

M~ Yeah, Duncan sums it up just right =) thanks for stopping in!

SweetNoah~ You seem to catch all your most beautiful thoughts no problem

Cat Hair~ hehe, all three work for me!  I'm happy to hear you enjoyed!

Krissy~ Thanks a bunch for your lovely thoughts!

Sandra~ I'm glad when someone can relate...thank you for popping in and visiting.

Hugs to all of you!
