Sprinkled Words ~*Marge Tindal*~ Like little sprinkled words drifting on trails of soft wind Poetry comes in gusts of whimsy to play my quill again~ Sometimes one, sometimes two never enough to appease I write the night in quilling delight to satisfy the poet in me~ Touching down long enough to gather thoughts as they come In just a blink, this ink-of-think writes a poem for someone~ Across a universal inking-well poetry flutters in friend's e-mail Sometimes touching the heart of friend with a soft smile of remember-when~ As if my own little muses didn't keep me busy enough ... June Somerford Williamson, thank you for directing that 'lost thought of inspire' my way~ Now, go paint something~Tee-Hee~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |
