Field of Green

The moning haze is lightly spread
Across the meadow’s April bed
Beneath the mist a field of green
And woodland’s edge soon to be seen

Behind the cloud of foggy dew
A white tailed deer within my view
A frilly fringe of purple lace
Of redbud’s spattering limbs of grace

And just beyond this field I’ve known
An ancient barn of granite stone
Will soon appear when morning haze
Dissolves into remembered days

And brings to view as crystal clear
As childhood memeories held so dear
A field of green in early morn
A place where many dreams were born

(smiles) Ooohhhhhh...I just love meadows so much, sweet friend, whenever I visit the mountains I always love to just lay in the meadows where daffodils and Indian paintbrushes bloom! (kiss on cheek) This is a rainbow of inspiration, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Elizabeth, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Once again, you pen a poem of beauty and grace.  I just love the delicate way you write.

Take care,

Forever and always will I think of redbuds as purple lace... because of you and your magical words. *S* This is lovely, Lady Santos... I enjoyed very much.
