The Music Of Life

Warm loving laughter
and voices that soothe
a new baby's cry
and the prattle of youth

raindrops on rooftops
in softness of night
the crackling of thunder
the music of life

the sharing of laughter's
harmonious tune
the sound of "I love you"
with romance in bloom

words of true caring
in tones, soft and light
with tenderness playing
the music of life

Now that's a tune we should all be singing. It plays softly on my soul.

Lyra~

All of the above and then some....add a little harmony for me...lately I have been venting a more depressing scene....none the less I have faith music will play again and sweetly....I love this, a keeper for my soul...thank you...(I also ramble too much....sorry)...

Lauren~

Step through the
barrier of my mind,
enter my soul,
feel my desire,
let my eyes guide you
into the shadows of my heart

May love and light always shine upon you!

Thanks so much for your reply, Noah...
At least the newborn isn't singing...I don't think they carry a tune real well...
but their cries sometimes really do sound like music....
~lots of hugs singing~

Lyra darling heart I think this is utterly utterly spectacular. The flow the construction the rhythm all combine to make this a truly outstandingly fabulous poem. Rarely is writing this good, certainly this far exceeds my expectations and my expectations for you are always high. YOU are a very good writer and this proves it.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY

notes, undisturbed, unplayed
until an instrument of life
organizes them into patterns
with joyous aplomb
such is the music of life

the aura of a great symphony surrounds you, Lyra!  Verrry cool poem!

and ~Happy BirthingDay Huggsss~ to the Great and Wonderful Munk-Ster!
my best always,
jeff

Duncan, Karilea, Lori, Peaches, Marsha and Jeff...
Thank you all for your replies...
I am sorry I couldn't write personal replies to all of you, but I had a very bad week with side effects from the radiation treatments....
I am slowly getting better and hope to spend more time here again soon...

thanks again, all of you

~loving hugs~
