Soft as a Flower

Soft as a flower to open its bloom
Sweet as a rose to bestow its perfume
Slow as a child to waken from sleep
Mystic as stars of the evening will creep

Gentle as seeds of the earth come alive
Wet by the tenderest tears from the skies
Everything changing with purpose and grace
Going unnoticed by moments of haste

God sets the hour for petals to bloom
Man who determines what eyes will consume
All of life’s treasures enticing the eye
So soft and so silently tiptoeing by

I'm glad this soft treasure didn't tiptoe by me... it graces the morning. *S*

Well considering I was here while she wrote this and know that the softness of the rose lives in her soul it is hardly fair to say this is beautiful but I will, it is simply lovely (just like the author)!

So soft in tiptoe...so lovely in every way...how do you find writing with a tornado in the midst?  Give my hugs to our friend...

and make sure she reads your journals...she will sit quietly then
