River beds that run their course
once they did but tricle
valleys deepen into gorges
once they did but ripple.

planets that divides
rock strewn in space
asteroid belts compromise
unwinding of heaven's lace

tiny foot that fits a hand
on two or more, bodies then stand
mountain brooks lead us to dreams
unfolded spool of ribboned streams

Along those river beds
I grasp thoughts to understand
how the vigorous widen parameters
then meander....
how tiny feet alight this land
not long after
goose meets gander.

Martin

You do question the grand plan, don't you...and on such a large scale.  Much enjoyed!

I enjoyed the read. I like the general inqusitiveness of the lines. Not saying I agree with all of it but really enjoy the stimulation of the ideas.

ethome,

there's much in the way of inquisitiveness, thanks for sharing.
