Blind Leading the Blind

Indignity is self-imposed
Like a discriminating nose
That roams among the flower fields
And picks the sweetest of the yields

But life is not a flower garden
And there is a thing as pardon
And magic comes from wishing wells
Those have no odors or no smells.

But only thoughts of veiled impugn
Can walk the path of pure immune.
And rainbows only come to bend
With out a treasure at the end.

So style yourself a dreamers wile
And sit a fence of graces guile
And do not be the centerfold
All stories will themselves unfold.

So leave the rind and rest your mind
We all in ways are sort of blind.

At first I thought you'd written a poem about you and I but then I realized it was way too wise for that!
I love the humility and modesty within this piece....  a real gem!

Nice reminder Sy...written ever so gently too. I always did say we are all just fumbling around in the dark, looking for a match.

Okay. I admit it..I WASN'T LOOKING FOR A MATCH. But what I found? Well, it didn't give me much illumination, but it sure kept me warm last night!

G'morning sweetie!

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Seymour, yes indeed, we are all born blind and as we grow and learn from wisdom, our eyes slowly begin to be able to see depending on how much we look to Him and if it is not enough, others who are blind will help us among the ways! (sigh) This is wonderful, sweet friend, we all love you so much, God Bless You! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Seymour, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

But if the braille fall underneath
by which the blind shall take their leave
leave me words to read, still, more,
leave the ones wrote by Seymour

I am thinking I should be drinking more raspberry tea, so I am witty like our JM, but the beauty of posting behind her is that I can just say, "whatever she said" and add, that, not only are you cute, but you are smart, no how often does that happen?  Tell me?  Not often!  Loved the Sydom in this one, and it is indeed your trademark that Sydom.

Seymour Hi there, this is lovely, your rhyme and flow in this cannot be bettered. You have the gift of perspicuity this is amazingly well written. I’m always enriched by reading your wisdom, and tonight is no exception

Mum isn’t very well today, but I know if she were she would be replying to this beauty, you know both mum and I adore your writing, and I think Emma has also picked up the fact you are a terrific writer

Love and warm stuff
