We are apart with no ending destination
My mind will brush the softness of your lips
To sip enough of you to last another day

There is no limit to the heights that we will climb
My heart embraces you in lavish consolation
A gentle touch to hold you warmly in my stead

In need of comfort and affection, this banquet we prepare
My soul keeps company as far as you may soar
In harmony a bringing of this sleep, we seek to dream

A blending of white light and limitless connection
The very breath that fills my lungs of moist sea air
To fall the walls that hide, open of these pearls of heaven

As words will play upon my tongue in sweetened facination

This is good.  I really like the images of the figurative speech you use here.  "To sip enough of you to last another day"  I liked that image a lot.  I like the gentle language of this poem, and how it flows so naturally off my tongue.  Very nice!

Kathy,  this is fantastic...how you used so
many other verbs and adjectives to say what
others say so repetetively....myself
included...

What a beautiful language this is TD.  Well done with this beauty!
