Still I wonder I’ve seen inside the souls of men, through eyes that could not lie I’ve seen the hearts of true and false, the blossoms bloom and die I’ve given comfort when I could and listened with reply I’ve been there when the chips were down and shared the tear of cry I’ve woken to the morning, just to wish the nights return I’ve braved the days of torture when my spirit rose to burn I’ve given years of youth for what? To say those years have gone And still I wonder everyday, just where do I belong? |
