Eternal Hope Who says I can’t live within the dream? Whose rule is that joy remains unseen? Love enriches as it flows over your soul Filling those places, making you whole No gaps of wanting what you can not be Or signs of arid, which hope desperately Tears of joy can spill within the sound Splashing on the sand of heart’s ground Who says the voice of hope shouldn’t sing? Or that truth doesn’t mean any such thing? I believe that only with trust can we go on That if trust and truth fade love will be gone I gave you my heart and you have it still For I love you and I think I always will I can’t take it back for I belong to you My heart and soul will remain ever true Who says that I should forget your kiss? Whose definition should I take of bliss? You to me are all that I need or desire I can’t watch this love burn in a pyre I know you love me I can see its there It’s only your own fears you have to dare If you’re feeling lost then I do understand But reach for me darling take my hand Marsha To give light to them that sit in darkness..... to guide our feet into the way of peace Luke 2:79 |
