The End of a Dream
By Larry Chadwick

I actually stripped a few gears,
Shifting to lower my expectations.
It helped to adjust my attitude,
To finally manage the realization.

The magic can’t always last,
Though it was a good ride.
Life still has to move on,
For this I’ve certainly cried.

So I’m back on the road again,
Looking for the synergy lost.
I know I’ll find it somewhere.
Regardless of what it cost.

We’ll have a reunion some day,
And recall the way things were.
And together we’ll laugh and cry,
Of this I am quite sure.

And in the mean time as we part,
Just know I have the memories.
From time to time I’ll replay them,
Drawing strength for new victories.

What would we do without our dreams?  Indeed.. Yet we have to live with our realities as well.. Nicely said, LC..

BRAVO!!! Yes, dreams are always capable of becoming stale or jaded nat the moment, but as long as we always continue to believe in those that bring a spark to our hearts, the road will lead us on to lifes true joys and fruits! (big hugggssssss) This is powerful wisdom, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Larry, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Sometimes memories can take us a long the way and keep us going....very nicely said Larry~

Step through the
barrier of my mind,
enter my soul,
feel my desire,
let my eyes guide you
into the shadows of my heart

WOW,
Thanks...it fit the moment perfectly and sounds like you know exactly what it means to grind them gears!

Nan,
It's just that I hate it when reality interferes. Thanks.

Noah,
Time for another job...who knew. Thanks.

Lauren,
Where would we be without our memories? Thank you.
