She reminded
him of
dawn.
Her dishwater
blonde hair
was
the color
of dishwater;
at an
allnight
diner;
at dawn.
Some
might refer
to
an allnight
diner as
a
greasy spoon.
What's your
point
one might ask.
So was
her hair.
Not a spoon;
greasy.
It just
goes
to show;
love is not
a spoon;
love is
greasy,
the color of
dishwater;
at
dawn.

Interesting perspective, as I read this twice.  Applaud your creativity and earthy disposition. ThisDiamond

Tim

Something tells me that you write here with  your serious and your tongue in cheek..besides, love doesn't care, does it?  It just blooms, and sometimes from places you never would suspect.  Enjoyed this.

The analogy does not escape us...the question is, why didn't any of us write it quite this way, before?  It is always so good to see you here!

Isn't Dawn dishwasher detergent a bubbly blue hue?...
