Repost request:

The Golden Key

Not a law but a simple gauge
Given in store within our fate
On stone on page from age to age
Passing alone from late to late.

We hold on lip a simple truth
A weight that tips the justice scale
Ignored by most mainly youth
No host, no grail, no cloak or vail.

It lives a presence day to day
An essence in a simple core
A bray,  a say, a path, a way
And stays in truth forever more.

It brooks to you, to all that heed
To look within your shoal the whole.
It takes no breed to work it's deed
Your pull of soul will pole the goal.

Just do unto others each one
As would unto thyself have done.

Seymour~ Wow!  Look at you go!  Not only does this poem have such profound meaning to it, it's also so intricately woven.  I love the rhyme from line to line and also the rhyming done within each line.  Everything jumps out at you and the message is loud and clear, but you say it in such a soft way that it leaves the reader feeling touched, rather than preached at.  Lovely!

*hugs*
~Krista

Your beautiful words & creativity allow me to connect with the same in myself.
Thank you for having the courage to share yourself so that I can too

Seymour darling boy this is awesome, truly exceptional writing. You again have excelled darling boy, you really are a master at this, capturing the words and pinning them to the page. Absolutely first class, you really are a very very fine writer. As I’ve mentioned once of maybe twice. And this with its perfect and exquisite language usage is simply stunning.

Utterly utterly excellent writing and of course I love it utterly utterly

Sy,
this brings forth images of the wisdom of 'The Water Babies', except your lanuage is exquisite and your metre is perfect as usual.
