Listening to every heart

Buying blind…

A thank you vis a vis
dollar plated card

credit
online
your world
fingertips away

but to a tactile person

where touch
is touch
is touch

and smell of bindings
bind me

and paper smoothes my soul

all letters scattered
to blend into a rhythm
of buy buy buy

could I trust

my sense of sight alone to purchase
a book
online

it comes to me that my soul
centered,
and found this book

for me…
.
.
.
.

Rumi and I
have become fast friends

now perhaps
I shall learn

some secrets

and in my blind reach

encounter the glow

(giggles over Nan's reply) Oh my gosh, I too thought of Mysteria reading this, isn't that funny? LOL! This is a wonderful poem, sweet friend, this is such a comforting feeling to have deep down! This is fabulous, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Karilea, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

I read poetry till I go blind..does that count?
yeppers...theres nothing like the smell of new books and the feel of crisp pages..
except for old books and soft curled edges
I love this ones glow...very very cool write Kari.

Ms Shine...

perhaps if you sit there
by the window
and just thumb through a few pages
a few hours worth of
wearing the words

the book will be in your mind

enjoyed it lady..

With no time to spare I find I must buy books on line.  My gratification is the opening, conditioning, and reading
