Surrendering to your eyes Lost in the sound of your voice The stars envy the way I look at you But you give me no choice My breath is taken in a glance Thrown carelessly my way And you laugh with fingertips Knowing my heart will sway Your touch is generous In it’s withholding Your touch can be so damn reckless With whispers, scolding And you laugh with fingertips Tracing your name across my existence And I watch you smile, knowing I have no resistance The stars envy the way I look at you While the ocean sighs deeply, wistful heaviness Crashing in rhythm of fingertips and hearts And I watch you smile, wanting nothing less ~SEA~ |
