Your love - inspired by doreen peri's poem, "God wants more poetry...." I'm captured by my gift of poetry All I do now, somehow is write for you Why must I write and write? I am not free? I cannot rest; I'm filled with zest, gee. What good are stars when lonely fingers are Typing on a keyboard making words and lines? How am I free, to see, feel, I'm in a jar Of magnetic bits, fits, lost, no sunshine? I speak of love, above but love requires Two souls aglow, in loving ecstasy List'ning to music of heavenly choirs With time to touch and feel tenderly. Where are my melodies; where are roses? Where are my moonlit nights; where are delights? Where are my hugs and laughter, cute noses? Why must my day be gone to write in night? I need a lift, not a gift, poetry I need your love from above deep in me. Your love.
