they are a mystery to me
the blossoms of early spring
to turn their back so quickly
on a hard and sorrowful winter

much forgiveness must nature instill
in these simple flowers
perhaps God does understand
what he puts us through

no, it is what we put ourselves through
taking responsibility for things
forcing others to feel the same
when what we need is forgiveness

and understanding will come
shining and bright
breaking over your life
bringing with it a new day

James,
and understanding will come
shining and bright
breaking over your life
bringing with it a new day

And I'm sure it will, enjoyed
