In the lullaby of the Sea
Dancing in vibrant colors
Serenity so calming
That the aquarium is your ocean
The brine of your heart
Filling your lungs up
From a fluid of oxidized canisters
Releasing the shackles
Of imprisoned humanity
Floating in special universe
Suspended within a liquid miracle

So in an ocean of humanity
We school in traffic jams
Feeding in a frenzy of lost time
Filling our lungs in the smog of cancers
Taxing us with endless burdens
In the baggage of existing in
Mundane tasks of repeatability

In the gentleness of its hostility
The oceans pound our shores
In waves of tranquil hypnosis
As our mind seek the horizon
To let loose the manacles
In the grains of sand
Floating under our feet

In a commitment of endless schedules
Promises that must be kept
Tasks to be reevaluated into eternity
You are imprisoned in your own success
In the glory of making it to the top
You have lost nature’s comfort

Sailing the oceans now
The horizon is your challenge
For time for awhile
Will be in animated suspension
While the winds will carry
The currents of unknown obstacles
Onto islands of contentment
As the lullaby of the sea
Puts you in a relaxed sleep
Under a blanket of stars

Thought: Seek out your dreams for they may be sailing over the horizon.

This is part dreamy and dismal real time good stuff.

I think I'll go to sleep now!

Uncanny and calm it is.

Thank you Sir~

Mmmmm....sleep...*yawn* Your last stanza made me tired, 'specially  the 'blanket of stars'. Not that this was boring! Not even close. Nice, very nice.

That's what we, as heroes, do. We live as if the world were like it should be, to show the world what it could be.

(smiles) Oh David, this is wonderful, sweet friend, yes, we must seek our dreams and forget about space and boundaries as then life will always feel like an aquarium when out in the horizon there is so much more, so you have to believe in the sunrise! (big hugggsssss) So keep diving for pearls, sweet friend, God Bless You, you have my deep blue vote, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet David, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

I'm a fool for chiasma -- the inversion of expected word order to create a new meaning within the old (He who is lost, hesitates).... and you do it so well with startling constructs like "animated suspension" and "feeding in a frenzy."

This has my vote for sure.
