I’m Ready to try
It rained all night a lullaby
Of drips and creaks of winding breeze
That wet leaf pillows
Left from Fall’s piles and now
Are brown faded in corners with a few
To cover drain

The patio a lake remains
So cat has learned to walk on water
And I,  have decided to try harder
In search for green and growing spring of things

Into the day of slippers and a promise
Begin the setting aside of empty pots
Dormant long with winter thoughts
And tending first to drape of linen on wire
I’ll air the dust staled seals of acquire
When sun again trips this cloud drenched sky
And cat,
    and I
       Find the pools of season,
                                dry.

I'm in too strange a mood to respond to this seriously right now.  But I read it, it's honestly an incredible poem.
I'll try to remember to come back when I figure out which side of my brain is which.

Wow, you two. A pleasure to read.
Just about every line either so packed with imagery could almost be a poem by itself, or adds to the overall message, causing me to be eager to read the next line.  Love this. Hard to deciphor where one of you start and stops and the other begins and adds to.....
Amazing....and enjoyed greatly.

Hugs to you both, Pat

Well now will you look at your two just sqeezing a picture out of every single word.  Yes, this is a duet that was meant to be and be often.  Do I have to tell you how much I enjoyed this?  I don't think I do , you two are just the best!
