every flaw is fatal
each word an admission
my coyness the weapon
of my own unmaking

so all i render
will soon abase me
as those words had
when i was younger

what use is autonomy
i feel no sting
no pang of conscience
no roar of indignation

pushing weightless objects
through empty spaces
