And so we pause. If only for a moment. Allowing the space between us to charge full with the intimacy of distance. We touch in ways unseen. Our breath mingles in a sense of mutual surrender - It is the breath of only one. And then our glance lingers soft...until our eyes, growing hungry for each other - fall hard to a heated gaze. It is time. A new moment begins. |

I really like the tension in this poem and the idea of "the intimacy of distance"- like when you really want to kiss someone but can only do it with tiny flickers of your eyes. I think thats what you mean by "touch in ways unseen". Works well and gives me a feeling of deja vu. Lovely - Issatou. |
