BOOM!

Crash landing
jarred
awake
hussshhhed . . . silence

Discarded metal
thrashing about
my brain

Oh, the past . . . it haunts me so . . .

Eyes wild and staring
land before me
unknown yet outlined
This ship no longer serves me
I embark

Stranger in a strange land . . .

---------------------------------------------------
For Raphael - who inspires me so
My words are my gratitude, my friend
I thank you . . . xxoo

QA was in my head . . . listen . . .
This is in response to your "Becoming"

I will double check my ref & credit -
in the meantime - here goes

a crash occurs - alone - not the same language - no familiarity
a family takes him in - teaching communication & how to survive in this new world..... massive frustration for this man
he falls in love with the woman - then realizes ... she has a husband & finally embarks on his own into this strange land with the knowledge gifted by this family

the twist was at the end - it was revealed that this was an analogy of birth / childhood / & transition to an adult life

I will find the reference to confirm
I think it was - Og Mandino's = university of success / a multi-authur masterpeice

. . . all that we see is but a dream within a dream  . . .
