There are really
crystal mornings
when the air lifts the lung
there is peach fuzz on the sky
as burgundies of night are ripe
and symphonies
are visual
vivaldi must have gazed on this...
the mandolin
has wings of bird
and violin in string of flight--
dancing in the hammering
of a finger's nervousness.

oh-my-soul
I know the feel
of wings tucked
in spiral climb...
head in duck
beneath a wing
dizzy spin
of a drill bit,
mine
I claim
it is all mine
breaking clouds in opening
blue
between
the white and gray--

that's the way the feathers fall...

K- I do believe this is my favorite - and quite possibly one of the best? Not right word - adored - there ya go - works I have read so far - mannn - you had me there - ready for flight . . .  perched . . .  feeling that wind upon my face - and yes, Vivaldi did see this and you know?  He is playing in tune to your words . . . this is awesome . . . love it with everything - *pat yourself on the back*  This is a concerto . . .   xxoo

Now, how is a Brother supposed to write when he sees something like this? This write had it ALL... imagery, wording, pace... Perhaps one day I will figure out your secret.
I would definatley have voted this one in the book if you had chosen to include it.

serenity blaze - now I understand fully where the words come from. One glides into the land of the cypress, sits in the quiet of the night and listens to the whispers of them, and in come the words. Then out they go onto these pages. A'hhh, now I know...

(smiles) It is all yours for the taking, and oddly enough there is so much more to go around as long as the mandolin is in fashion! (kiss on cheek) I love how your poems are toned with sharpness and tempo, this gracefully touched my heart, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Karen, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!
