So this is it,
The curdle that still brews and blisters heart and flesh
Defying you moment to the next
A smear too thick to swallow, too deep to wallow

And here I am,
Touching on a tender spot, lancing heat on what is not
Un-denying each heartbeat to heartbeat
A small stone, easy to cast, and hard to release

And here you are,
Tangled and snarling, gentle slaps that could be lethal
Dying, for the last of harm to leave
A simple angry wound, afraid to touch, lest it hurt again

So this is it,
The calling that keeps coming, wave upon wave
Defying you, moment to moment
A small stone, easy to cast and hard to release

I close my eyes,
Touching on a tender spot, warm baths you shudder
Un-denying each heartbeat to heartbeat
The sun, the stars, and all you have not known

(smiles) Oh Kathleen, this is beautiful, sweet friend, this would make a wonderful song as I love the slight repetition at the beginning of some of the stanzas that would match so well with melody! (kiss on cheek) This is excellent, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Kathleen, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
