I immerse myself
In a dance transcendent
Of music and laughter
Of merriment so great!

I remember not long ago
I was the epitome of misery
Of sadness I had no end
Of happines I had no start

Faces known and unknown
I greeted all in joy
What Feast is this?
Exuberance, joy, love!

Glad I am to be away
Away from the dreary life
I now am in love,
And in Love I dine!
