“WITH ABANDON” by Bill Charles ~~~~ Place your hand right here over my heart, feel it play in tune with a bluesy beat, it must have been born inside my bones, for I just can’t stop moving with my feet… Doesn’t matter if I’m playing with that Guild, up on the stage singing and all of that, whenever I hear those sounds it gets to me, I get grooving on down, and start to format… I’d rather be out on that dance floor moving, playing on that sweet guitar making it sing, dance feet slipping and a sliding across, searching for you wanting some renewing… Hips swing just right with the chords strumming, then you meet mine in sultry rhythmic motion, dance with me, and my guitar one more time, we three with the blues, inside with abandon… ~~~~ |
