A Song of debris

I am a bit of flotsam wear
Echoing my dreams and prayers
Singing silent melodies
Searching for some remedies.

Fragment of a lineage
Parcel of a pilgrimage
Cabal of a cabal sown
This one made of flesh and bone.

Microscope in the rhyme
A bit of sand in flowing time
An innocent of consciousness
Dimension of dimensionless.

A thing so small the overall
There is no word to size the small
But yet I dare to laugh in wit
For in my mind the shoe don’t fit.

So this is why I sing off key
Am I here or yet to be?

Microscope in the rhyme

So you...so true...
'tis not a song of debris...
but fact that you are
singing poetry...

Good, good morning, Sy....

No, Seymour, I think not
this is a song of debris,
but a song of poetry.

Good morning, Mr. T.!

You could sing your songs off-key, and I would still listen!--but I must admit that it is much easier on my ears that you have perfect pitch!

Sing away, Dear Sonneteer!

Peace, Love & Light,
EA

Seymour - I am in awe yet again. How you manage to come up with such wisdom in words so lovely, everyday, boggles the mind. All I can say is....slice of banana bread this morning? hugs, Chris

If you are a fragment, I'm awed at the thought of what the whole might be like... the talent would be overwhelming. *S*

I like this very much, Seymour... your songs are always easy on the ears. *S*

Good good. I greatly enjoyed reading this. I could learn a thing or two from your manipulation of meter and rhyme.
