High up in the mountains,
...near the great divide,
Lays an alpine meadow,
...where heaven and earth collide,
Mountainsides of pristine glory,
...frame the verdant lea,
Above the clouds where eagles soar,
...and quakes the aspen tree.
Beneath the snowcapped mountain peaks,
...untouched by human hand,
Where marmots play amid the rocks,
...lays hallowed meadowed land.
The mountains thrust their jagged peaks,
...tear holes into the sky,
Letting loose upon the meadow,
...glories from on high.
An altar to the gods above,
...green grass and columbine,
Spread across the meadow’s floor,
...in splendored hues divine.
High up in the mountains,
...near the great divide,
Lays an alpine meadow,
...where gods themselves reside.

Indeed they do.. It's a glorious place up on that meadow... There's a whole new vantage point to the world about us.  You paint a lovely visage, m'friend...
